Each node implements machine learning techniques to learn and adapt to the characteristics of individual modules.

The core component of the Battery Management System is the node, the modular building block of the solution.

In typical scenarios one node is fitted to each battery module and is tasked with continuous health management and operation of all hardware and functionality within that module.

This includes individual cell monitoring, operation of internal thermal management systems, and implementation of high-speed digital e-fuse technology.

Each node implements machine learning techniques to learn and adapt to the characteristics of individual modules which provides precise and accurate estimates of key performance indicators such as State-of-Charge (SoC) and State-of-Health (SoH).

The data collected from the Battery Management System can optionally be synchronised with a cloud-based digital analytics platform to monitor the long-term health and performance of large fleets of fixed or interchangeable battery modules.

These analytics can be used to inform maintenance cycles and can be accessed by end users to provide clarity over the capability of their equipment as time progresses, mitigating the risk of using worn out or damaged hardware in mission critical scenarios.
